Student Life In Canada
Why Canada?
Canada is the 2nd largest country on the planet by total area and possesses a rapidly expanding economy and significantly developed infrastructure. Canada is widely considered to be one of the world’s most beautiful countries, possessing picturesque natural landscapes. Due to its natural beauty, Canada has become a leader in environmental policy-making to protect its beautiful tundra, lakes and forests. Coupled with the proud Canadian values of kindness, openness and tolerance, this has made Canada a hotspot for both tourists and prospective immigrants. According to the Canadian Bureau for International Education, Canada currently ranks as the world’s 7th most popular destination for international students.
Canada is host to 3 of the top 5 most livable cities in the world according to the last annual survey by The Economist. Vancouver, Toronto and Calgary are listed as 3rd, 4th and 5th respectively and they reflect the high quality lifestyle that can be achieved with the right guidance, resources and knowledge. Canadian universities also provide the opportunity to work in Canada upon completion of a year of study so it is likely that the lessons learned from our services can be applied to a future career in Canada. We want to provide this same high quality life to our prospective clients and endeavour to make these kinds of statistics a reality.
A Multicultural Society
The Canadian constitution explicitly demands that its population be one of a multi-cultural nature. As a result, many cities are very diverse with a myriad of cultures intermeshing to creating a cultural tapestry, uniquely Canadian in its nature. This provides Canadian and International students the chance to interact with a wide variety of different ethnicities, cultures and peoples every day. We here at Rankora believe that each culture has something to teach to another and encourage our clients to grasp the full Canadian experience by successfully integrating into society. We believe that very little can be learned by segregating our clients from the rest of the population or forming ethnic cliques which never interact with others. We are however, sensitive to the importance of retaining a clear cultural identity and preserving ones natural heritage. At Rankora, we strive to develop bright, culturally integrated students with strong roots in their nation of origin by providing our servies, access to our resources, and links to both ethnic and geographic communities.
